Jason Kingry, 43, of Brookhaven, was arrested Oct. 14 and charged with sexual exploitation of children.

A Brookhaven man has been arrested and is facing charges of child pornography.

Jason Douglas Kingry, 43, of Brookhaven, was arrested Oct. 14, after Brookhaven police detectives and agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations executed a search warrant in the 1200 block of Dresden Drive, where Kingry lives.

Kingry is charged with sexual exploitation of children, but the exact number of counts is still pending, Officer Carlos Nino, a spokesman for the Brookhaven Police Department, said.

The arrest stems from an investigation by the Brookhaven Police Department Criminal Investigation Division, which is also assigned to work Internet Crimes Against Children. During the search warrant, electronic devices were seized which contain suspected child pornography, Nino said in a press release.
Detectives are still currently processing the evidence seized during the search warrant. Kingry was transported to the DeKalb County Jail.
