Good, messy fun was had at the “Pumpkin Smash!” event Nov. 7 at the Dunwoody Library, where families gathered to pulverize their Halloween jack-o’-lanterns and pumpkins, with the remains donated to the North DeKalb Community Garden. Children’s Librarian Catherine Lampley organized the smashing success.
