Dunwoody City Council member-elect Pam Tallmadge is sworn in to office by Judge Stacey Hydrick during the Nov. 9 City Council meeting. Tallmadge took her seat on the council immediately following her swearing-in.

The newest member of Dunwoody’s City Council took her seat Nov. 9, shortly after swearing in.

City Council member-elect Pam Tallmadge was elected Nov. 3 to the post vacated by the current mayor-elect, Denny Shortal.

Rep. Tom Taylor and Dunwoody’s first mayor, Ken Wright, both watched Tallmadge as Judge Stacey Hydrick swore her in.

The mayor-elect will be sworn in during the Jan. 4 City Council meeting.
