Fulton County Schools wants community input on its next five-year facilities plan and is conducting an online survey through Nov. 30.

Sandy Springs City Councilman Andy Bauman, in an email to constituents, said the survey is a good chance to press for the long-planned new Riverwood International Charter School building.

“This survey is for all of us, regardless of whether we currently have children in Riverwood (or in the public schools for that matter), because having top quality public schools/facilities in our hometown is important to all of us for many obvious reasons,” Bauman wrote.

The survey is open to all Fulton residents. It asks about residential growth, each school facility’s condition, and “the educational appropriateness of [school] spaces.”

The input will be included in the district’s facility master plan, according to FCS.

The survey is available here.
