Dining and entertainment venue City Winery Atlanta has delayed its opening at Ponce City Market until June. While originally scheduled to open in May, the business faced some unexpected and unavoidable construction delays, according to a media statement. City Winery Atlanta intends to move forward with its scheduled commitments in June and is working to reschedule May events such as Cracker and Amel Larrieux.
“It’s disappointing,” said company founder and CEO Michael Dorf. “All of us at City Winery are incredibly excited to be in Atlanta, and we’ve been looking forward to our first shows. While we are frustrated with this setback, we want to make sure that we are putting our best foot forward and delivering the perfect space for fans and foodies. We promise to make this up to all of our ticket holders. We hope everyone understands, and we can’t wait to see you in June.”
All current ticket holders will receive two house seats to a non-sold out City Winery Atlanta show of their choosing.
The Freedom Seder, scheduled for April 17, will still take place at a location in Ponce City Market. For immediate questions, please contact email@example.com or call (615) 324-1010.
