traffic-jam-carsTransportation analytics company Inrix released a new “Traffic Scorecord” this week ranking the Top 10 cities with the worst traffic. It might come as little shock to motorists that Atlanta is at number 9 with an average of 59 hours wasted in traffic in 2015. Los Angeles, as usual, topped the list. On Wednesday, March 16, the final City of Decatur homestead tax exemption bill passed the Georgia House of Representatives and the legislation has been sent to Gov. Nathan Deal for his signature. On March 8, four of the five homestead exemption bills passed but SB 343, the bill that provided the most significant tax relief from school taxes to citizens 65 and older was delayed. The next step is for the governor to sign all five of the City of Decatur Homestead Exemption Bills so they can be voted on as part of a referendum on the Nov. 8, 2016 ballot.
