Brookhaven City Council members are meeting at the Inn at Serenbe in Palmetto, Ga., Friday, March 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for its annual retreat.

The strategic planning session will be facilitated by Langford D. Holbrook of the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia.

Items on the agenda include:

What is your vision for the future of the city of Brookhaven?

What is working well?

What needs improvement?

What are current or future trends or needs the mayor and council must be aware of?

What needs to be done over the next 18 months and prioritize top five including an identification of action strategies, such as timetables and funding sources.
