The Cowart Family/Ashford-Dunwoody YMCA is hosting a free community event as part of on Saturday, April 30, at Blackburn Park to inspire kids to keep their minds and bodies active.
The event, to celebrate YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day, is from 10 a.m. to noon at the park across from the YMCA. There will be family group exercise classes, inflatables, games and special vendor activity stations “to motivate and teach families how to develop healthy routines at home,” according to a press release.
“The Y believes in the potential of all children, and we strive to help kids find the Wow! Factor inside themselves,” said Micki Robinson, executive director of the Cowart Family YMCA in a statement.
