Newell Brands, the Fortune 500 home products brand company, is moving its corporate headquarters from Sandy Springs to Hoboken, N.J., according to a press release on Business Wire.

The company was lured to New Jersey with $27 million in tax incentives and will keep a “hub” in the Atlanta area, according to the press release.

Newell Brands, recently renamed from “Newell Rubbermaid,” just moved into a new corporate headquarters on Peachtree-Dunwoody Road a few months ago. Its previous headquarters also was in Sandy Springs.

In a written statement, a Newell Brands spokesperson indicated that the Sandy Springs office will remain “the business hub for the Newell Rubbermaid Group.” The company was called Newell Rubbermaid until earlier this year, when it changed its name following a major merger with Jarden Corporation, another home products corporation.

A spokesperson said more than 1,000 employees will remain working at the Sandy Springs location and some will relocate to New Jersey, but she did not give specific numbers.
