If you’re a fan of soap operas, improv and comedy, Dad’s Garage Theatre has you covered for the next 10 weeks! Every Saturday night, the company will be performing the improvised soap, “Scandal,” and the storyline kicks off Saturday night, June 18, with a special guest – comedian and actor Scott Adsit (“30 Rock”).

“Scandal” is set at a fictitious shopping mall in the Old Fourth Ward that’s on its last legs as hip new spots like Ponce City Market take away all their customers. You’ll meet the store owners (in this alternate world Rich’s, Spencer’s Gifts and Turtle’s Records & Tapes still exist), workers and few remaining customers and the hijinks they get into from week to week. Adsit will play the mall manager for the opening night show, but (spoiler alert!) might die before the end of the episode.

As media sponsor for the show, Atlanta INtown will be posting funny, weekly Soap Opera-diget style recaps of each week’s show and giving away tickets via social media, so be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

To purchase tickets and to find out more information about “Scandal,” visit dadsgarage.com. Dad’s Garage is located at 569 Ezzard St. in the Old Fourth Ward.
