Five Dallas officers were killed by snipers late Thursday and local police departments are reacting via social media.
The shootings occurred in downtown Dallas during a peaceful march to protest the police shootings this week of two black men, Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, La., and Philando Castile in Minnesota.
Dallas Police used a bomb attached to a robot to kill the suspected gunman, Micah Johnson, who killed five officers and wounded seven other officers and two civilians, according to reports.
