A voter arriving at a Buckhead poll this week was wrongly told she had already cast a ballot, according to an 11Alive report. And a voter told Reporter Newspapers he had a similar problem at a Milton poll on the same day, Oct. 17.

Fulton County elections officials reportedly told 11Alive that the issue at Buckhead’s Northside Branch Library on Northside Parkway was a check-in error. The voter was eventually allowed to cast a ballot.

Meanwhile, another Fulton County voter said he had the same problem at the Milton Branch Library.

“I went to early vote and as I got to the desk, I was told I had already voted,” said Milton resident Jerry Caldwell in an email. “I thought that was very odd. I told [the poll worker] I had not, and she hit a button on her computer and told me to proceed. I thought that was bizarre.”

Caldwell said he had not filed a formal complaint.
