This Saturday, Oct. 22, the skies over the meadow at Piedmont Park will be dotted with bright, playful, and colorful kite creations. The annual Atlanta World Kite Festival and Expo will return for its fifth year of high-flying fun from 1 to 6 p.m.

All are welcome to this free event, which will feature a pumpkin decorating contest, a kids fun zone complete with bounce houses, carnival rides, and a train. Guests are encouraged to bring their own kites and creations, or buy a kit at the event itself. Find out more at  www.atlantaworldkitefestival.com.
