The 14th annual Chomp & Stomp Chili Cook-Off and Bluegrass Festival returns to Cabbagetown on Nov. 5 for a day of food and music. The event will be held in the neighborhood park, 177 Kirkwood Ave., from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This year’s Chomp features chili from more than 70 teams and 25 of your favorite local restaurants (including Staplehouse, Ladybird, Southern Gentleman and Ria’s Bluebird). Chili tasting begins at 12:30 p.m., so arrive early to get your spoon. Spoons are $5 and you get to sample from all the teams and restaurants.

Live music begins at 11 a.m. on three different stages. Some of the bands and performers include Gandpa’s Cough Medicine, Peachtree Station, Max Godfrey, Atlanta Bluegrass Band, City Mouse, Frank Hamilton and many more.
