Stephen Ochs and his business partner, former Falcons player Garrett Reynolds, have unveiled plans for Fetch Ice House in the Old Fourth Ward. Billed as the city’s first restaurant and dog park bar concept, Fetch will be located at 520 Daniel St.

“Growing up around dogs my whole life and having a boxer myself, I always felt torn between going out with friends or going to the dog park after work,” Ochs said in a media statement. “Why can’t there be a spot where you could do both? Fetch is a place where you can hang out with friends on Saturday afternoon while your dog gets to socialize and play right by your side.”

Fetch will feature an outdoor shipping container bar with rooftop seating, while an Airstream trailer will be transformed into a full-service bar serving beer and cocktails. Amenities will include a dog wash station, Wi-Fi, on-site parking and a membership feature for Fetch Park. Through its monthly membership, Fetch Park will provide a safe, well-maintained place for dogs and dog owners to play and socialize.

Fetch is expected to break ground in August 2017.
