Construction of the master plan for Clack’s Corner will begin on Dec. 1, making it necessary to close the park for about six weeks, according to a city press release.

The City Council approved individual master plans for nine of the city’s parks in February. Clack’s Corner improvements include a monument sign with a seating area, a community lawn, a natural play area, new benches and brick pavers. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held early next year to mark completion of the project, according to the release.
