The first “Movies by the Lake” event at the 7000 Central Park tower in Sandy Springs, will feature the classic comedy “National Lampoon’s Vacation” (1983), along with food trucks and outdoor games. The event is being hosted by building owner CBRE Global Investors.

The event is part of a larger strategy to showcase the property, and more events will be announced, according to Nick Banaszak, a spokesperson for CBRE.

The “Movies by the Lake” is described in a press release as a “family-friendly event open to all ages.” However, the movie “National Lampoon’s Vacation” is rated R. Banaszak said that CBRE “feels each parent can exercise their own discretion on what their children should watch.”

“Movies on the Lake” will be held Tuesday, June 13, 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the lake and terrace of the office building, located at 7000 Central Parkway. Parking in the building’s garage will be free.
