Jim Guess Jr.

Previous experience holding elected offices: None.

Other community service experience: None.

Why should voters choose you for this position?

I feel that John Albers simply rubber-stamps the Republican agenda. I think my work experience growing a small business that had over 200 employees and did work nationally and internationally would bring something fresh to the current Democratic rhetoric.

What is the biggest issue facing the district and how will you address it?

Quality jobs and higher wages. And to be honest, I’m not sure how much that means to the populace of the district. I think the 56th District is fairly affluent, but that might simply be a “cover” for those with disparate living conditions.
