Sally Bethea

Atlanta Intown columnist and contributor Sally Bethea has won first place for magazine commentary/opinion at the annual Georgia Press Association Awards.

Her Above the Waterline column “Is Houston’s flooding a cautionary tale for Atlanta?” brought home the win. You can read the column at this link.

Bethea, the retired executive director of Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and current board president of Chattahoochee Parks Conservancy, has been writing about sustainability and the environment in her column for three years.

In addition to Bethea’s win, our sister publications Reporter Newspapers brought home 12 awards for excellence.

From all of us at Intown, congratulations, Sally! We are honored and thrilled to have you as part of our family.
