The 8th annual Atlanta Summer Beer Fest will be held on Saturday, June 16, from 4 to 8 p.m at Historic Fourth Ward Park. The event will feature more than 200 beers (wine and cider, too) along with live music, food, fun and games. Tickets are $45 in advance or $55 at the gate. Information:

Cousins Maine Lobster

Cousins Maine Lobster is set to open June 21 at Lenox Square in Buckhead. Founders and cousins Jim Tselikis and Sabin Lomac have taken their small LA-based food truck business and built it into a national franchise with brick and mortar locations in 15 cities. Fans of the hit TV show “Shark Tank” might remember that Barbara Corcoran invested $55,000 in the company to take it national. The menu includes lobster rolls, shrimp tacos, fried clams and more. Savi Provisions, the local market chain that offers gourmet and organic foods, fine wines, craft beers and spirits, has opened a new location in Decatur at 180 Ponce de Leon Avenue (the former Cook’s Warehouse space). Information:

Atlanta Beer Bus

The Atlanta Beer Bus shuttle service is now operating in Buckhead, Midtown and West Midtown on continual loop between the districts’ breweries. Stops include Monday Night Brewing in West Midtown, Urban Tree Cidery, Second Self Beer Company, Scofflaw Brewing Co., Red Brick Brewing Company, ASW Distillery, SweetWater
Brewing Company, Orpheus Brewing, Park Tavern, and the Midtown MARTA Station.  Routes vary depending on breweries opening and closing times. The cost is $15 per person. Information:

Farmers Market on the Square is now open at Colony Square every Monday through September from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market features local farmers and artisans selling everything from freshly prepared lunches to organic fruits and veggies, to homemade preserves and treats.
