Queen of Cream and Revelator Coffee Company have announced a joint expansion plan, partnering on three new locations opening this month and in March.
Coffee & Ice Cream is expected to open any day now at Lenox Square in Buckhead. Like the original Queen of Cream in Old Fourth Ward, the shop will offer 12 flavors of ice cream, including four vegan options, and feature a large array of ice cream-based menu items such as sundaes, milkshakes, espresso shakes, ice cream sandwiches, vegan ice cream bars, and homemade toppings. This location will also stock a selection of takeaway items to accompany homemade ice cream sundaes, including hand-crafted fruit and dessert sauces, a selection of crunchy toppings, such as nuts and chocolate covered honeycomb, and other items such as ceramic and bamboo ice cream bowls, enamel pins, fun books, and stationery all centered around ice cream and coffee. A selection of caramels and chocolates curated by Xocolatl, the Atlanta-based small-batch chocolate company, will also be offered.
Revelator: Sweet Tooth Café is expected to open in March at Phipps Plaza. The menu will be similar to the Lenox shop, but with a more “romantic spin.” Sweet Tooth will feature a collection of eight seasonally-rotating ice cream flavors, including two vegan offerings, and plated desserts. The shop will also serve a menu of sundaes, milkshakes, espresso shakes, and novelty items such as ice cream sandwiches and vegan bars. Xocolatl is once again curating chocolates and caramels alongside other hand-crafted items, such as toffee, brittles, marshmallows, and gummy candies curated from small makers around the country.
Queen of Cream at Plaza on Ponce is also opening in March next door to the Majestic Diner and just steps from Plaza Theatre in Poncey-Highland. Again, customers will find 12 flavors including the two vegan options and four seasonal flavors that alternate monthly – year-round for scooped ice cream, seasonal and classic sundaes, milkshakes, espresso shakes and affogatos (which utilize Revelator espresso), and ice cream sandwiches. Queen of Cream will also debut soft-serve in the new space, offering vanilla bean soft-serve alongside a rotating vegan flavor with options to add one of a large selection of toppings or with blended mix-ins.
