The Atlanta World War II Roundtable is holding a luncheon at Dunwoody United Methodist Church on May 16 to learn more about the Tuskegee Airmen, a group of African American military pilots who fought in the war.

Zellie Rainey Orr will speak about “WWII Tales of the Tuskegee Airmen.” Orr, of Atlanta, is a historian and author whose books include “Heroes In War – Heroes At Home: First Top Guns,” about the Tuskegee Airmen.

The Atlanta World War II Roundtable was founded to hear and record stories of the war from those who served.  The organization meets the third Thursday of the month.

The lunch meeting begins at 11 a.m. at the church at 1548 Mount Vernon Road, Dunwoody. Admission is $20 and includes lunch, a salad bar, dessert and a beverage. RSVP to or call 770-457-4409.
