The following crime information is provided via the Sandy Springs, Week in Review Report for the week ending Nov. 15.
North District Crime
The unit reported four burglaries. All cases were in apartment complexes, with three cases in apartment storage closets.
The unit reported five entering-auto incidents. An arrest was made in one case after a witness provided a description to the police.
South District Crime
The unit reported six entering-auto incidents, all occurring in parking lots within commercial properties.
The unit reported five burglaries, with four of those occurring in storage units at apartment complexes. The remaining incident occurred at a residence, with the suspect taking a television and a wallet.
Street Crimes Unit
The unit reported one felony arrest, two misdemeanor arrests and four city arrests. The unit conducted 30 traffic stops, issued 11 traffic citations and located one wanted person. The unit investigated seven suspicious persons, conducted two vehicle searches and worked one drug complaint.
The unit conducted entering-auto details at Northside Hospital and Ray’s on the River restaurant.
The unit reported five misdemeanor arrests, conducted 156 traffic stops and issued 218 citations. The unit spent almost nine hours working traffic complaints.
The unit reported one misdemeanor arrest and three city arrests. The unit conducted 36 traffic stops, issued 36 traffic citations, made three field contacts and investigated three suspicious persons. The unit conducted two K-9 searches, worked four drug complaints, and executed two search warrants. The unit seized 141 grams of marijuana and $6,066 in cash.
