If you’ve never been to the World of Coca-Cola Museum in Downtown, the holidays are a perfect opportunity. The museum is decorated in extra festive red baubles and trees, you can have your photo taken with the polar bear mascot and there are special holiday drinks to sample in the tasting room. There’s also the opportunity to learn the history of Coke and its connection to Atlanta, view all of the colorful memorabilia, see the vault where the secret formula is stored, how the beverage is made and shop for collectibles in the museum store. Coke also recently celebrated the 100th anniversary of becoming a publicly traded company. The museum is open on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, too, so if you’re looking for something to do, have a Coke and a smile.
