Sandy Springs resident Millie Kinbar celebrated her 100th birthday Wednesday, Feb. 24, with a “drive -thru” party at the Hammond Glen Retirement Community, where Kinbar lives.Because of the restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic, Kinbar’s birthday party was held outside and well-wishers drove past in their cars to convey their birthday greetings.
